TES operates under industry guidelines and within documented procedural systems to ensure attention to detail and competent management of the implementation of your efficiency solutions.

Quality Assurance

TES is Quality Assurance certified to the AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 standard by Benchmark Australia.

Being certified means:

  • We are committed to quality, customer care and satisfaction.
  • Our system is regularly reviewed by both internal QA auditors and by a certified external QA auditor, and therefore we have to prove that we are doing what we say we are doing.
  • With our recent re-certification, we are again eligible to use the Benchmark Certification Logo below to demonstrate our compliance in Australia.

To become certified we needed to:

  • Document our systems (and also identify opportunities where we could deliver even better service).
  • Document all areas for improvement.
  • Perform internal audits identifying areas for improvement.

Efficiency accreditation

Energy Star Rating Schemes

TES is able to provide Accredited Energy Star ratings for commercial office buildings in Australia. Currently there are two certification systems being used in Australia:

  1. NABERS Rating Scheme (up to 5 Star)

NABERS is a performance-based rating system for existing buildings. NABERS rates a building on the basis of its measured operational impacts on the environment, and provides a simple indication of how well you are managing these environmental impacts compared with your peers and neighbours.

The NSW Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) manages the operation and development of the accredited NABERS rating systems throughout Australia.

  1. Greenstar Rating Scheme (up to 6 star)

     

Greenstar office ratings, developed by the Green Building Council of Australia, are designed to assess the environmental potential of office buildings. These ratings establish how the premises will perform under ideal circumstances based on design information and management processes. The actual operational performance data established by NABERS ratings will complement Greenstar ratings, establishing a valuable feedback loop to building designers, developers, tenants and owners.

TES is able to provide clients with either assessment, based on their particular requirements.
